UNIPLEX 165
DIISOBUTYL ADIPATE

Uniplex 165 is a safe, effective plasticizer for imparting low temperature flexibility to various polymers, with a good balance of solvation and low temperature properties. It has excellent compatibility with cellulose acetate butyrate, cellulose nitrate, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, and vinyl chloride acetate.
Uniplex 165 is approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use under Code of Federal Regulations 21 CFR 175. 105; 21 CFR 175 .300; and in other sections where incorporated by reference.
Uniplex 165 is suggested as a solvent/plasticizer in fingernail enamel, nail enamel remover, hair sprays, adhesives, and coatings. It is particularly recommended for plasticizing resinous and polymeric coatings that are intended for direct contact with foodstuffs.
