3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Emergency Overview: Clear, oily liquid, may be irritating to mucous membranes and eyes; can cause central nervous system depression when ingested. Normally, not irritating to, or absorbed through the skin.
Potential Health Effects: High vapor concentrations are irritating to nose, throat, lungs, and eyes. May cause depression of central nervous system, if swallowed.
Eye Contact: Irritating, but no permanent damage if washed out from eyes promptly with water.
Skin Contact: May be mildly irritating to the skin.
Ingestion: DO NOT INGEST. May cause central nervous sytem depression.
Chronic: ND (Not determined)
4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air; give artificial respiration if breathing has stopped. Get medical attention promptly.
Eye Contact: Flush eyes with large amounts of water until irritation subsides. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
Skin Contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
Ingestion: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; get prompt medical attention.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Flash Point: 295F (COC)
General Hazard: Uniplex 110 will burn if involved in fire; Carbon Dioxide and Carbon Monoxide will be formed upon combustion.
Fire Fighting Instructions: Extinguish with water fog or spray, CO2, dry chemical, foam, or earth/mud. DO NOT use direct water stream, as material will be spread--treat as burning oil.
Hazardous Combustion Products: Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Land Spill: Notify appropriate authorities immediately if Reportable Quantity (RQ) of 5000 lb. (2270 Kg) is exceeded. Contain spill and pump into containers for disposal. Avoid runoff into sewers and storm drains.
Contain small spills and absorb with an inert material, such as sand or vermiculite.
Water Spill: Remove from water surface by skimming or with suitable absorbents, such as straw.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

General: General warehousing conditions are satisfactory for this material.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROL/PERSONAL PROTECTION
Engineering Controls: Local exhaust ventilation is recommended to keep exposure below limits--see Section 2 for exposure guidelines.
Personal Protection: If concentrations are over exposure limit, use OSHA-approved respirator.
Respirator: Use OSHA-approved respirator if concentrations are above exposure limits--See Section 2.
Protective Clothing: Splash proof goggles and vinyl, or rubber gloves. Exercise good chemical handling practice.
